Van Afrika tot in Amerika - K3

Voor de 11e challenge van de Scrapheap gingen we een favoriet liedje scrappen. Nu zijn er verschillende mogelijkheden, maar we hebben jarenlang naar K3 liedjes geluisterd en zijn verschillende keren naar hun concerten zijn geweest, dus, ik heb een spread gemaakt van het liedje waar dit allemaal mee begon. Op 1,5 jarige leeftijd werd Veerle namelijk fan van K3 en met name van "Van Afrika tot in Amerika". Sinds Josje Kathleen haar plaats heeft overgenomen is echter "Blankenberge" favoriet.

From Africa to America - K3
Since Veerle was 1,5 until about 9 years old she really was a huge fan of K3, a Belgium group of three ladies: Karen, Kristel and Kathleen, that sings all kinds of Dutch songs. The first song Veerle adored was: From Africa to America (Van Afrika tot in Amerika). The last concert we visited, Kathleen was replaced by Josje.
The 11th challenge of the Scrapheap was scrapbooking a favorite song, so with the pictures of the concert, I scrapped about this longtime favorite song of Veerle using a combination of different colorful lines of paper.

Veerle's High Tea and Hat Party

Joehoe, ik heb de 10e Challenge van de Scrapheap gewonnen! Hiervoor moest er op een vorm gescrapt worden. Ik had al een cupcake liggen om te gebruiken voor het scrappen van de "High Tea and Hat Party" t.g.v. Veerle's 10e verjaardag. Daarna heb ik daar een gewone spread van gemaakt, omdat dat toch mooier is in haar album.

Tijdens het feestje hebben de dametjes met Jos en Anke 10 gerechten gemaakt en met mij petjes versierd. Aan het einde van het feest gingen ze opeens op een rijtje staan en riepen "Echt Hema!". Waar het vandaan komt, tja..., maar ze hadden wel erg veel lol samen. Het was een supergezellig feestje!

Veerle's High Tea and Hat Party
For Veerle's 10th birthday she and her girlfriends decorated a cap with glimmers and ribbons together with me. And, together with Jos and our friend Anke they cooked and baked all kinds of cupcakes, sandwiches and other high tea delights. Afterwards, they enjoyed the delicious meal they had put together.
So, I was really happy with this colorfull Candy Lane line of Kaisercraft complete with a cupcake die-cut. The 10th challenge of the Scrapheap was scrapbooking a form, so I used the cupcake for this and guess what, I won the challenge!!

Kaart Yvonne

Dit jaar heb ik ineens het kaartenmaakvirus te pakken. Ook voor mijn lieve zusje Yvonne die 22 maart 41 jaar werd, heb ik een verjaardagskaart gemaakt om haar eens heerlijk te verrassen. Dat heeft ze zeker verdiend! Ik wens dat het een fantastisch jaar voor haar wordt.

Again I have made a birthday card, this time for my "little" sister Yvonne who really deserves it. I have used the paper of My Mind's Eye, which I still had as a left over after making Cobi's Sweet Sixteen Box.

ATC's over de Lente

Allereerst even een vreugdekreet, want ik heb deze keer de cadeaubon van € 10,= van de Scrapheap gewonnen omdat ik het meeste aantal punten had behaald bij de Challenges!! Mijn puntenaantal gaat nu weer op 0 en ik kan weer opnieuw gaan sparen.
Deze keer is de 8e challenge om 3 ATC's te maken over de Lente. Nu heb ik nog nooit ATC's gemaakt, maar ik vond het wel leuk om te doen. Normaal ruilen mensen ATC-kaartjes met elkaar, maar ik heb besloten om ze t.z.t. te gaan gebruiken op een spread over Pasen.
Want Lente en Pasen dat hoort voor mij bij elkaar. Ik heb zelf de mand, paashaas, paaseieren, het kuiken en de bloemen getekend en uitgeknipt en alles nog wat ingekleurd met glitterpennen.

ATCs about Spring time
This 8th Never Ending Challenge of the Scrapheap is to make 3 ATCs about Spring time. Well, I have never made ATCs before, but I thought I can use them in the future for a spread which I want to make with photos made at Easter time. I drew the basket, the eggs, the easter bunny, the little chicken and flowers and cut them and afterwards, I have pimped them using glitter pens.
